GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY
You will be responsible for the delivery creative for all of our marketing & advertising needs. You will create innovative online marketing campaigns and initiatives including website updates/overhauls, display ads, blogs, video, lead gen through our CRM system, social media, SEO and SEM. You take ownership of your responsibilities! You look at a completed task and ask yourself: “What more can I do?” You motivate yourself to achieve better than you first thought you could! You genuinely feel proud of what you’ve accomplished! And most importantly, you are able to “Be the client”!
SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
Creative
Create all of our monthly magazine advertisements, video, social & digital Ads. Look at ways to improving brand alignment, messaging & creative output.
Social Media
Grow our online audience, user engagement and loyalty on all social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Youtube and more).
Stay up to date on emerging social technologies and features, and use them to engage and grow our audience (Facebook Live, Facebook 360, Snapchat and Instagram stories) for our B2B & B2C audiences.
Social media, website, blog & newsletter creation, SEO/SEM, reporting & analytics
Content
Develop video snippets to use in our marketing outreach to help drive social channels back to our website.
Develop AdWord campaigns to expand our marketshare & reach. Knowledge & ability to create & manage SEM campaigns
Develop, write, proofread, and edit copy for content such as newsletters, emails, blog posts, lead nurturing programs, ebooks, press releases etc. to support & drive marketing and sales goals for our B2B & B2C audiences.
Monitor blog content and recommend changes to ensure all articles are high performing.
Accountable for scheduling, writing and proofreading segmented, customized e-blasts & distributing in a timely manner supporting the overarching marketing strategy
Website
Devise strategies (video being one) to drive online traffic to the company website
Track conversion rates and make improvements to the website
Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns to optimize conversion rates
Create, edit & manage video content
Analyzing web traffic to company websites and providing monthly reports
Monitor and analyze competitors’ traffic generation activities such as media, PR, SEO, SEM
Other
Support administrative functions around tradeshows & events (booking client/partner apt’s, insurance docs, shipping, booth requirements)
Support CRM system: data cleanliness, optimization of system & utilization of software maximizing our
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Bachelor degree in Marketing, or equivalent post-secondary training and experience
Experience in content marketing, SEO, Email marketing, and social media.
Strong creative experience in Adobe – ability to create Ads from scratch
Strong video shooting & editing abilities to create brand aligned messaging & videos.
Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy and best practice.
Proficient in online marketing and a good understanding of major marketing channels
Experience with web analytics
Familiar with using Web editing tools, Mail Chimp and CRM systems
Proven ability to write compelling copy to captivate and intrigue your audience
The following skills and experience are also desirable: Graphic design, & Video editing
Possess high energy, maintain a persistent mind-set, enthusiasm, and be extremely goal oriented
Possess a professional business manner, an ability to identify, connect and build relationships
