We are looking for an enthusiastic and results-driven individual with construction experience and timber frame experience to join our team.

You bring strong knowledge of residential design and construction; commercial timber frame or mass timber experience to build the Ontario market share. You will use your expertise in customer service to work with each client (B2B & B2C) as you move them through the process of sales qualification, design, estimation, contract administration, production and final shipping of their timber package. GENERALACCOUNTABILITY

The primary accountability of thisposition is to develop and generate new business opportunities, new customers,accounts & business partners across the Ontario market. Follow through onthe setting the strategy, achieving sales objectives, goals & timelines.  Achieves maximum salesprofitability, market growth and account penetration within an assignedterritory and/or market segment by effectively selling the company’s productsand related services. Grow your partner network to drive repeat business &create loyalty with our company. Deliver exceptional service, knowledge andindustry expertise. Personally, contacts and secures new business accounts/customers.This would be a remote job with occasional trips to the Head Office in Golden, BC.

SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Establishes,develops and maintains business relationships with current customers andprospective customers in the assigned territory to meet/exceed sales goals
  • At the beginning of each month, establish realistic prospecting, sales action planto achieve monthly objectives
  • Forecastfollowing month’s sales & pipeline activities
  • Monitordaily performance and compare it with that month's objective.
  • Making every effort to maximize both present and long termsales and gross profits.
  • Service customers & leads/as required in support ofexceeding sales targets & moving clients /builders along our projectactivity milestones
  • Proactivelyprospect new clients and new business partnerships through market research,outreach with warm & old calling/daily; monthly to achieve monthlyprospecting objectives
    • Google new industry partners that are aligned to ourbusiness
    • Send introductory emails to new partners/prospects
    • Phone call follow ups to get face to face meetings
    • Build our database with key industry partners
  • Maintainreporting sources for developing prospective customers, database developmentand for information to determine their potential.
  • Managedatabase for region, responsible for keeping contact records up to date; cleandata & following proper database rules for consistency of approach
  • Responsiblefor developing & maintain strong positive relationships with CTF staff& coordinates sales effort with marketing, sales management, design, shopfloor & logistics
  • Analyzesthe territory/market’s potential and determines the value of existing andprospective customers – channels and markets value to the organization.
  • Identifiesadvantages and compares organization’s products/services against competition –finds an creates unique value proposition
  • Plansand organizes personal sales strategy by maximizing the Return on TimeInvestment for the territory/region.
  • Eachfall prepare a territory plan for the following year to achieve/exceedobjectives
  • Prepare in advance and proactively schedule regular salesmeetings with the President.
  • Work to improve your sales skills, managerial skills,business skills and product knowledge.

MONTHLY OBJECTIVES (ex of what you will be measured on):

Sales Target: First year -$2M Annual Target

New clients/builders youadded to the database: 200/year or 6/week

Relationships moved from Ato AA; AA to AAA: 12/year or 1/month

B2C testimonials youcaptured this month: 1/Quarter

B2B testimonials youcaptured this month: 1/Quarter

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Understanding about theirmarket and competitors' products

5-7+ years of being at thetop of your field; industry specific sale experience or related experiencenecessary

Experience with aligningexpectations & exceeding them with sophisticated, educated buyers; luxurybrands

Proven track record inmanaging regions and consistently exceeding sales objectives

Strong understanding ofcustomer (both B2B & B2C) and market dynamics and requirements

Proven leadership qualitieswith good communication and interpersonal skills and ability to build loyalrelationships & develop new business markets

Proven organizational andanalytical skills

Willingness to travel andwork in a global team of professionals

Able to operate in afast-paced and changing market environment

Good negotiation skillsand persuasiveness
