Timber Frame Fire Tower

This Fire Tower was erected at the owner’s cottage in Ferndale, Bruce County, Ontario.

This project was a bit of a logistical challenge. The task of getting 48,000 pounds of heavy timber up a 'goats path' and then to leave the site after the project was completed, as if we no one was ever there & the surrounding environment hardly touched!

To add to the challenges, the tower was erected without a helicopter on a piece of the Canadian Shield. For some the challenges would have been to vast but for Andrew Noxon, just part of the fun!
